I finished my first oil painting this week! I enjoyed oil painting a lot more than I expected to, and I'm pretty happy with the outcome. This was a three week process: underpainting, approximate hues/tones, then the final push. I wish I'd had another session to tighten things up, but all in all I'm glad I'm getting the chance to play with oil paints!
