I'm Still Working on It, Promise.

No, but seriously I am making a second page (and third...and fourth...) to my comic right now. Unfortunately I am really bad at focusing and have very little free time. But here's the proof!

Also included: my face creeping around in the background.

First Comics Camp!

This week was my first session of comics camp/class at West Sound Academy. I had a small group (only three) but everyone was enthusiastic and psyched about the class so it went pretty well. I do another session the week after next, with a generally younger set of kids. Hopefully we'll have a lot of fun and the kids will come out with a set of creative comics to show their parents and friends :)

New Comic in the Works!

I just this week was struck with a new idea for a comic! This is very exciting for me because I have wanted to return to comics for a while, but have been at a loss for ideas. I don't want to give away too much right now (partly because I don't know all the details yet) but here is a quick character sheet I just inked to give me something to work from.

A few words about where I'm headed with this comic. There will be zombies and moral quandaries. Think about 28 Days Later, and then head for the opposite direction and you've got my plan. Depending on where I decide to take the plot, this could be anywhere from 10 to 30 pages. Stay tuned for more on this soon...

Holiday Break

Here it is, New Year's Eve, and my Holiday Break is almost over. Soon I'll be back in Providence and taking my Wintersession courses: Graphic Novel (aka Comics) and Intro to Computer Animation. Hopefully I will have more time to climb and possibly even set at the RI Rock Gym.

Anyway, here are some videos of my favorite blind dog playing with his new toy :)

Enjoy!
